Dr. Kim received dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1996. He practiced general dentistry for several years before receiving a 3 year specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry. He held a clinical instructor position in removable prosthodontics department at UCLA. Dr. Kim is a member of American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, and Academy of Osseointegration.

Kevin La, DDS

Dr. Kevin La received his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. After finishing dental school, he attended his post graduate residency program and received his certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at UPenn School of Dental Medicine. Dr. La is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and now serves as a mentor for Associate Fellow Candidates. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Currently, he serves as a teaching faculty at the Comprehensive Dental Academy and maintains a private practice in Fullerton, California.

Bassem Farid, DDS

Dr. Bassem Farid began his studies at UCLA with a undergraduate B.S. in Biology with departmental honors in Biology in 1987 – 1992. He earned his DDS degree in 1992 – 1996 and continued on to his general practice residence at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wadsworth, 1996 – 1997. Dr. Farid attended Alameda County Medical, Highland Hospital 1998 – 2002, completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Farid’s research includes: The Branchial Cleft Anomaly: A review and case report, Repair of Acquired helical Rim of Ear Defects: A review of literature and case report of a single stage approach, Gunshot wound to mandible and stage lip reconstruction using the Bandoneon local flap, a case report. Dr. Farid’s special interests include: sports, world travel and daily exercise.

David S. Han, DDS

After receiving his Bachelor of Science of Biology from the University of California Irvine, Dr. Han went on to complete his dental education at University of California (UCLA) School of Dentistry in 1991. Dr. Han then completed his post graduate General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Los Angeles, California. Dr. Han has continued to further his dental education and skills through advanced training. He mastered cosmetic dentistry by completing Mini-Residency in Esthetic and Contemporary Restorative Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. He has completed advanced courses in occlusion, aesthetic dentistry and TMD management at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.) in San Francisco and The Pankey Institute in Florida. Dr. Han is currently a senior instructor and director of TMD management, the Advanced FOSA Therapy or TMJ Bite Stabilizer Therapy and Centric Relation (CR) dental courses at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.) in San Francisco. Dr. Han is also an expert in Gnathological laboratory techniques.

Daniel Cheng, DDS

After graduating with dual bachelor degrees in Biochemistry/Chemistry and Economics a the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Cheng completed his doctoral dental degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He attended an additional year of pediatric training along with numerous accredited continuing education courses in specialized fields, including a post-graduate study in Advanced Occlusion, Restorative and Prosthetic Techniques by the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education. He continues to be actively involved in the Stuart Gnathology Study Group as well as the Loma Linda Implant Study Group.

Currently, Dr. Cheng is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society and the Academy of Osseointegration. In the past, he was the Vice-President and board member of the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry as well as spending time in the USC Faculty Practice.

Dr. Cheng enjoys community service and regularly volunteers his dental services at a medical and dental relief foundation. He has participated in countless free mobile dental clinics throughout California such as the Remote Area Medical Clinic, Care Harbor LA and CDA Cares since he has been practicing dentistry.
